After over 10k miles we easily getting into 23mpg average and still being quick on the road.

Final comment sums it up perfectly.

Turns out I have a friend with a P300.

Over 2 years he has averaged 24mpg.

23mpg for the V8 sounds fine!

Long story, I did but if you see the other thread on issues you will see I was in the process of rejecting it. Which I now have done and tomorrow will purchase another one…
