Hello,
I've got a starter on my 2004 TD5 that occasionally needs a good tap from a blunt instrument. I'm assuming that I have a sticky solenoid....has anyone got a recommend for the brand of repair kit I should buy? Seem to be many similar ones around £15 to £20. Is there any difference? It always happens when I'm in a wet field! Thanks for any help Cheers Mark 2004 TD5 2004 Discovery 3 |

There is very little difference. Or at least that is what I thought when I did Miffys solenoid. It's a nice easy job

Thanks for that...it looks like the same photo to me, but with a dozen different sellers. Hopefully will save me lying in a field on my back wielding a hammer....although I am a landrover owner so it is part of the deal!
