Potentially “ QuikSteel Steel Reinforced Epoxy Putty Metal Repair.” Coated on exterior with underseal and sanded and painted on the interior.
Else something like u-pol tiger seal, however gap my be too big for this. |

Dum Dum putty would be the way I would go with a gap like that I think - https://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/p-1979-body-caulking-10-strips
Waterproof, doesn't dry out and if you are inclined you can paint on top of it. |

I would first try to find what has caused the hole in the first place, especially if it is some form of galvanic corrosion. I am not very keen on those stainless steel finishers! 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
