Dash lights dimmer dial

Anyone had this stopped working?

Mine has….
Is there a simple reset / fix? L663 90ht

I think it only works with the headlights on. Have you tried it in that set up?

Must be one of the 83 microprocessors.

Can't just have the switch dimming the dash it has to be connected to the headlight circuit.
