Rubber parts in particular seem to be a problem for the aftermarket. Seals, bushes etc never seem right. I can only assume that in this regard the OEMs aren’t ripping us off and it costs OEM sort of money to get OEM sort of quality. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

This comes up time and again. Door seals are worth paying Genuine for.
I balked at the cost when I replaced mine but they fit perfectly, are supple and work exactly as they should. Sh*tpart? Just say no! |

Bite the bullet and bought some genuine seals - the rear door had developed a leak.
Massive improvement. Much softer, thicker and easier to fit. Bought the Britpart stainless steel carpet rail for the rear edge as the existing one was rusted. Actually fits really well and the screw holes line up (screws that came with it are too big , but just used the old ones with a bit of ptfe tape). 2011 CSW XS 90 |
