The usual approach is to adjust the hinges and striker to get the bottom half of the door to align as well as possible and then if the top is still sticking out bend it carefully into shape (I tend to wind the window glass down to be on the safe side, although I have never heard of anyone breaking the glass doing this.
It isn't clear from your photos if the lower part of the door is fitting properly. Landrover doors seldom fit well, and the door-to-panel gaps will usually be spectacularly wonky. It should be possible however to get them to shut flush and to get the waistline aligned. |

Thanks for the advice, the bottoms do need fettling too. I suspect that due to the very worn catch screws, they’ve been adjusted one time too many. The strikers were also very worn so I’ve ordered new.

Weather held off for five mins today to allow me to ratchet strap the door tops. Handily, the bottoms are sticking out a little so it should allow them to come in a little.
New strikers arriving soon so that should allow me to fettle the bottoms.
