That's a lovely "proper" Landrover.

Like that a lot! It might be the light, but is there some sort of sticker or striping going on with the paintwork?

Love that - great colour (I have a 90) and in the circumstances great that he's gone to a loving home so hoping you've saved another one Rob

Thank you all for your kind words!
Co1, yes, there is a sticker on there. I assume it was from factory, but not entirely sure. Tempted to try and remove it, but I think with the faded paint it probably wont look any better so may as well leave it alone for now. There is also duct tape from the previous owner which is holding the door together and trying to stop water getting through the waist seal. List of things to do, in no particular order: Engine oil, filters etc - Done Fix reverse light - Done Fix interior light - Done Breather pipes - Done Fix fog light - Done Cambelt - Done Accessory belt - Done Rocker cover gasket - Done Front radius arm bushes - Done Steering box seals - Done Steering drop arm - Done Thermostat - Done Coolant hoses - Done Passenger door glass regulator Door seals Diff and gearbox oils - Done Rear diff cover - Done Replace drivers seat foam Tub and windscreen seals Repair hole in top of footwell next to brake booster Rust proof/paint Fit security - steering wheel lock fitted, x-eng pedal lock or gear stick lock, fuel and batt cut off Reupholster roof lining Sound proof Fix 1-2 gear shift Fit larger intercooler and tweak pump New wheels and tires - Done General repairs to bulkhead Repair doors Repair/replace bonnet Oil pressure switch o-ring EGT Gauge - Done I have most of the bits to do the above list, apart from the welding and upgrade parts. Need to buy a welder and learn to use it and also wait for used upgrades to keep costs down. That is a much longer list than I had in my head. If anyone has any comments/observations/other things I should be adding I am grateful for any and all input. Also, if anyone wants the roof rack it has been removed and needs a new home. probably A-Frame joint. Terrible job but does reduce the knocking and movement of the rear axle plenty. 4.0 V8 Defender 90

AJ, thank you. I saw in the few invoices I got with the vehicle that was done a few years ago. It looks ok at the moment. Do they go regularly?

Not terribly so, but I was only assuming it'd need it with the rest of the list. its often overlooked. 4.0 V8 Defender 90
