Finding screw equivalent
Hi everyone,

I'm trying to fix ll the issues I have on the interior and I'm noticing I'm missing many screws, or I see that the wrong one have been fitted.

For example I'm missing the screw with the following sku : da608084. I can't find it on the internet or it's very expensive for one screw.

How do you guys manage to replace such screws ? Is there a tool or database where I can find the specs of each screws given a sku ? For example something like M3x20mm ?

I know I could buy a screw box/kit with many sizes & length but the one I find seems to be of low quality.

Thanks a lot,

Ronan

I believe they are a black, flange headed- no.6 x 5/8" self tapping screw. Shouldnt be too hard to get hold of some.

The part number might also include the plastic washer under the head but i am unsure.

Thanks for the quick answer ! Smile

My question is a bit more general : what is the solution every time I find a new screw reference I need to replace ? (apart from asking here for help ? Laughing )

Indeed they are cheap ! But I did not find them in France (to get lower shipping). But now that I have the screw size & length I can maybe do a better search Smile
