2.2 Puma Glow Plug issue
Hi all,
I've had an error code for Cyl 1 glow plug for a couple of months, and now I am getting the same on Cyl 3. All summer there has been nothing to suggest a problem - I only found the DTC when I checked as part of my latest oil service. I have checked the wiring and associated connections and nothing looks amiss. Although the glow plugs themselves are relatively inexpensive, it looks like I need to remove the intake manifold to get to them and that does not look fun.
Just wondering - have any of you needed to change your glow plugs? How long should they be expected to last? I'm at 75k miles on my 2015.

Last I checked for DTCs was at 103kmiles, no errors found. I think it is on the original glow plugs.1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
