Topless - opinions invited please
My 90 has been in this configuration since 2018.

I have itchy feet and am considering a change.

My question is ….. leave it like this or go retro - wolf wheels, S3 doors and a retro colour - maybe like this nice 90 from eBay.

Or even go the whole H166 HUE route. 2010 90 LHD soft top

That looks tremendous already, I wouldn't change. If I lived on the French Riviera that's what my summer car would look like, canvas off, arm out the window, shades on followed by near fatal heat stroke!. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Have you thought about scratching that itch but applying it to the interior? If it's change you are after, a reskin of the seats to something brighter/different would totally transform your Defender.

Just a thought.

And as others have said, you have a stunning Defender as it is!

A new soft top would look good to, but without those 'alpine panels'. Currently it looks like the ribs sticking out of a 'super model'.

Not sure which colour, the dark i like or go for a contrasting colour.

Thumbs Up

That tilt is rather ghastly!

To look right on a Defender the top should, in my opinion, be canvas (not plastic), have no side windows, and have a full-width rear curtain in the style of Series hoods, and there should definitely be no zip fasteners. Very Happy
