Warped arches
Hi People,

The arches on my daughters defender are badly warped but in good condition otherwise, any ideas how to straighten them?

That's odd - almost looks like they've been leant on Confused You could try the gentle application of a heat gun, perhaps? Darren

It's not unusual for them to do that, some do it less and some more. I'm not actually sure there's much you can do, but if you do hear of a remedy it would be interesting to know.

I have a spare wheel arch spat, and found that one did this after being painted after being stored flat.
I don’t let it bother me, but it maybe that they were painted.

I never noticed except in the mirror but it really isn’t anything that worries me.
Just like you get the odd panel “ripple” reflection in the side panels etc.
Defender character.

But as I said, it’s possible it’s a sign they may have possibly been repainted. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Moving a heat gun back & forward over them will help them take shape again if they don’t come out by them self apply some pressure with your hand. Don’t let them heat up too much though. Sometimes you need to hold them in shape till they cool down again. If you don’t have a heat gun a hairdryer will do. I have done this a few times & seemed to work well.
