Fuel pump electrical connector (Range Rover p38 pump)
Can we play a brief game of 'guess the connector' again please, which some of you seem to excel at.

I need to obtain the plug which fits onto the fuel pump for my 110 v8, which I was instructed to base around the p38 Range Rover - so that is the pump I subsequently obtained:

Its some sort of 4 pin arrangement, 2 for the float, and 2 for the pump itself.

Thanks in advance! 2005 Td5 90 XS

FYI - having to press the photos to get them to open (hosted on HTTP server not HTTPS).

The P38 docs I have show the pump to have a different connector to that. What's the pump part number?  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Looks a lot like a male Econoseal J housing

Hmm good question on the part number. When I had the tank made, they (I think Safari Equip - ordered through Brendan at Overland 4x4) bought the pump themselves to make the tank fit around it. Subsequently I never got a retail box - Brendan did say it was a pump for a P38 though.

I will also look into a make Econoseal J housing, thanks Steve.

Martin: thanks for the heads up on the images. I am not sure how to enable HTTPS capabilities on my hosted domain but I will look into it. 2005 Td5 90 XS

Ah it might be Econoseal, I was looking at it wrong and thought it had an offset rib/key.

Turning my head through 90deg it might well be Econoseal.

I’ve got some 4 way female plugs somewhere.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Although this is a BMW engined diesel p38, I think the pump design looks similar as does the connector.

Timestamps 11:32 and 12:35 is where he is messing about with the plug.
