So having read : https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic12575.html
Started to look more into the LuK website and found this option : LuK RepSet 601 0053 00 (https://aftermarket.schaeffler.co.uk/en-gb...6010053000) A heavy duty MT82 Clutch "In the above-listed vehicles, during the course of extreme off-road operation or trailer use, the clutch can start to slip. Frequent operation under these conditions can lead to increased wear, which can lead to premature power transmission failure. In the past, clutch replacement did not eliminate the problem permanently and reliably, because high performance spare parts were unavailable. In order to ensure durable and comfortable power transmission, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket has developed a new LuK RepSet specifically for these vehicles. Unlike the series production kit, this RepSet uses a larger, self-adjusting clutch. This provides several advantages at once: • Higher torque transfer capacity (so the clutch does not slip under high load) • Significantly lower pedal forces throughout the service life • Perceptible benefits relative to durability and comfort LuK RepSet 601 0053 00 cannot be combined with the series production flywheel. For that reason, in addition to the standard components, it includes a flywheel that has been specially designed for this clutch." The benifit is that being LuK / Schaeffler provides manufactuer testing and support, a kit that contains, flywheel, bolts, slave cyl, and bleed tool by the looks of it. Does anybody have experence of this unit, or is there another option eg LOF or others ? My Puma is appraching 82K miles and I think it may be comming close to "new cluch time".......
