Is the solenoid a silver tin pot type or a rectangular plastic contractor pack?

Interesting in that normally an albright has a stud for power in and 3 bolts for f1, f2 and a. Yours has 4 bolts.
Check terminals first if I was you. When solenoid is activated one way it will join a and f1, when switch other way itmwill join a and fw2. You can run 12v to centre and switch to earth or switch to live on low current side. Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

Thanks jst that's really helpful. The top right post on my solenoid is a slighty different shade of colour so assume that is D which matches your diagram.
