Mmm. I thought exposed headlights (as opposed to covered by a grill) and indicators on the wing, were S2? What’s the clue LRA? Monsieur Le Grenadier

Nice find!
I wonder how the bulkhead is protected... Unless it's one of the very few with an alloy bulkhead ? “A Land Rover immobilized is a moral defeat for the driver and bad publicity for the vehicle, […] it's up to you to do justice to your Land Rover!” - Land Rover Driving Technique. -- 2009 2.4 Puma Defender 90 SW 1979 Land Rover Series 3 88" |

So looking on line, twin side light/indicator combo on wing, with higher door sill with now iconic shoulder detail running from the wing, would be the two main S2 identifying details? Monsieur Le Grenadier

The S2s look much more like series 3's and have the 'barrel' sides which persisted until 2016. The S1s are much flatter panels.

The bulkhead looks to be either galvanised or painted silver.
The alluminium bulkheads we’re only used for a sort time during 80” production when the press tooling was worn out. 80” and 86/88” have totally different bulkheads. |

It's an 86", not an 88".
Early SII vehicles did not have the second front lamp unit for the indicator, just the sidelights, so the sure-fire way to tell an SI apart from an SII is the curve at waist level along the body side, introduced with the SII. All SIs were flat-sided. |

Everyone has pretty much beaten me to it now, but amongst a host of other details the dead give away are the flat sides.
