Puma rear diff problems. Fit a Salisbury, temporary fix.
I've heard of problems where the rear diff crown wheel bolts have sheared, but not ALL OF THEM Shocked
Britannica Restorations have been doing an interesting series of videos on this 110. A rebuilt diff won't arrive for 5 weeks (they're in Canada) so to get it driving again they're fitting a Salisbury axle.

Once again evidence that components that were fitted to series Landrovers in the 1970s are stronger than the very last Defenders made.
Thankfully Ashcroft's have a full range of upgrades on these diffs for when you do need one.

From what I can gather from the comments - that Defender has already had a rebuild by an independent garage. So I assume the blame is on the independent. Although I agree that it’s common knowledge the puma diffs aren’t really strong in standard form. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.

I've been following this on YouTube. The Defender 110 is an expedition build and weighs in at 3500kg.
