House of Vulkan
After a lengthy email conversation with David I took a 200 miles round trip to House of Vulkan in Thetford yesterday to get a couple of things done that have been bugging me.

I originally ordered a a Santorini 110 with dark grey interior added, but was fortunate enough to be offered a cancelled Carpathian 110 with light interior and picked it up within the week. Now I have the option of going dark grey or satin black...

When I got there they had all of the kits (original JLR parts, not covers) together side by side, we took them to the car to see them in place and make the final decision - Dark grey.

I'm happy to leave the cross beam in the original light metal as it works with the lighting when it's dark and adds a nice contrast to the rest of the car. Would have the centre console done part (part isn't expensive) but the effort is huge - the car needs taking apart to the centre armrest Shocked So I'll get that wrapped at some point in time.

I also had the OEM V8 steering wheel and paddleshift fitted and dynamic mode/configurable dynamics added. They also threw in being able to open (not unlock) the boot from the key!

The drive home was the better 100 miles. Can't recommend David and the team enough.

How do you like the paddle shifters? Or do you have a v8?

I like the paddle shifters, had them in my last few cars. Don't always use them but it's handy to be able to drop a gear or two when needed.

I have a D300, not a V8.
