2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 SW Indus Silver

Series 2.25. 2A parts?

While having some work done on our 2.2 Puma in Pretoria we were invited for a braai with the mechanics friends who are Landrover through & through.
They have various newer models & a 2.25 series 2A which needs some tlc. The overdrive is in need of a main shaft & clutch sleeve part no’s RTC 7168 and RTC 7170.
I’m back in the uk for another two week before heading back and said I’d ask as available is very limited in SA.
Any thoughts Gents? Is it something you can buy secondhand or new only & where from.

Hi - you might find them second hand, but being honest they'll be knackered. I've never had much luck with second hand Fairey bits.

However Shop4Autoparts stock everything you need. The site might look a bit naff but are the retail face of EAC gears amongst others so the quality is good and as far as I'm aware they're now the only supplier of Fairey OD parts.

They have both parts and can deliver next day.
