...and then I realised there's a pair of inline fuses protecting each relay.

The holders seem far better quality than the normal splashproof ones, there's a double lip on there. But the fuses are weird - I think they're these ones: https://www.connectorid.com/products/07051...se-20-amp.

I've tried to pull them out but they won't budge - I'd want to source a pair so I can keep them as spares so might have a chat with LandReiziger to see if I can get some spares.

...suddenly I'm less worried about the relays being exposed and thinking that the fuse holders should be in a box too.

Thanks Darren. As nice a fit as the aluminium box is around the relays I think I'll take a leaf out of your book and go for a more common, larger one and will try to get the fuses in there too.

I did have a good read of your thread on this in the past and am planning to make a H4 plug much like yours to cover the old, unused connector.
