I bought a pair of front hinged lamp guards, a rear access ladder and opposite side light guar from Masai 4x4. I chose these because they are zinc plated with black powder coat paint. So if the paint chips they still won't rust. Anyway one of the front light guards had the lower bar for the hinge missing. This only became apparent when I unboxed them and got the copious amount of plastic wrapping off.
It was Friday evening coming to closing so aswell as e-mailing them about this I phoned. Anyway they just wanted me to e-mail a picture of the faulty item. Monday they phoned (I am in Ireland) . Thet had located another front light guard, now alas out of stock and they would send it on. They did not require the faulty one back as the picture explained everything. Very happy with the guards and the service. They are now fitted to my daughter's 90 300 tdi. Here are some (not great photos) There is sufficient clearance between the ladder and the body to change a bulb. my dads got a set up, but for some reason its all on the an angle. Not sure who he bought them off, but the quality of the lining up is terrible, my dad had to make do on getting them to fit.
