Every phone call from people looking for winter tyres seems to be convinced we are in for the worst winter ever.

These days the forecast on the tv seems to spend just as much time telling us what the weather has been doing as opposed to what it is going to be doing. Steve.

That forecast is ridiculous. The forecast I just saw said the first couple of weeks of October could be the warmest on record for 28 years. How could it go from that to snow?!?
