So more discoveries. The ground junction in thr left rear was total garbage. Removing the ground was fun , needed 2 people as the nut is under in the wheel well. Cleaned it up, sanded the contact point and added a custom harness for grounds.

I went through the same nightmare, ended up with a new rear loom!
You can get an indicator warning bulb with a resistor, as the bulb allows current to run through it. I dont understand either but it works. you can buy them on ebay. The other thing is to check your hazzard warning switch. if it is slightly faulty it will cause problems. pay for a good one, the one i first bought was faulty and i spent days trying to suss the problem. All fixed on mine now. Good luck, Like the Pig. |

Oh wow. Lucky for me it was just my left rear corner. Once I fixed those grounds all the lights worked great.
I also did order the āearth fixā for the dash indicator light. I pulled out the indicator bulb for the time being, ground fix which just arrived yesterday! So all has been resolved thankfully. I also found some nice led headlights. Lastly, put on an led bumper, made some custom Wire looms and wired it all up!! Now I have daytime running lights and the bumper leds are on a rocker switch that is wired to a relayā¦ so if I forget to turn them off they turn off with the ACC. Was a fun project Click image to enlarge 1989 Defender 90 2022 Defender 110 SE DIYāer | Always learning |

Nice one.
I got interference on the radio when I put my led headlights on. I put those ferrous tubes on the wire ring and solved the problem. Enjoy your truck it looks well. |
