I'm sorry sir I cannot sell you a token!
This is not. Joke!

I just went out for a drive to find the nearest jet wash to get the dirt of from last weekends playing.

So as you do I pulled up at the jet wash and went in for a token. To be met with the man telling me, I'm sorry sir I cannot sell you a jet was token you car is too dirty Thud
So with a que building I decided to ask why he would sell a man with a dirty a token to clean his car? And then asked a) how do you expect me to clean my car?
b) would it help if I came back with a clean car?

Well luckily nerves got the better of him and I walked away with a token to clean the car. Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Russell

Laughing I got the same reaction when I kept going in for tokens to clean my Series after a bit of off roading - used 3 tokens and left four piles of mud in the cleaning bay Whistle

There is a garage near to me that you can feed the jet wash with pound coins but i have noticed over the last few visits that the amount of water has been restricted Evil or Very Mad

I always clean the underside first then give the body work a blast and then have to tidy it up at home.

Other than that its tokens or you have to buy a wash program which is a fat load of use when all you want is lots of water.

I used to wait until the evening and sneek in undercover of darkness so they could not see how dirty it was:whistle:

Pressure washers are cheap.
Why not buy your own?

Maybe they've just had enough of unblocking drains.
And yeah, restricting water....how very old fashioned, I mean it's free innit? Comes out the sky and all that. Rolling Eyes

Which is exactly the reason why some places won't entertain off road vehicles which are plastered in mud Rolling Eyes Steve.

The garage at the Solstice Services on the A303 has specially enlarged 'mud tanks'.
They knew they'd get plenty of offroaders straight in from the Plain. Very Happy

I did, but it's not much use if you move into a temporary house with no way of hooking it up Whistle Russell
