Any idea what these connectors go to behind the dash?
Hey friends. I had the dash out today as i was replacing the turn signal indicator / high beam mechanism. I noticed two butt connectors just kinda hanging out. One is red / white and one is green.

Also while I am asking after I put my dash back in I noticed my Ebrake dash indicator light is on which is great cause it did not work beforeā€¦ but now its always on haha. Love any help or suggestions

I would think the red/white is a spare panel light (for a clock or another dial)

Green, maybe an earth? (looking at the colour of the earth on the other dials there)

A muiltimeter will soon confirm that though,

Is that only green? Or is there another colour stripe?
If only green, then it is a fused 12v supply which is probably just spare.

I do not think that in 1989 there was a handbrake switch, but if your dash light is illuminating check the fluid level or wiring on the brake master cylinder. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
