Advise please, I have had issues with my 90-been back a few times to rectify bad leaks on door seals etc. I fit rock sliders a few weeks ago. I don't use the passenger door often, but have just noticed that it is catching on the pillar.
1) could me fitting the rock sliders have caused movement to the bulk head?
2) Have I invalideted my warranty?
3) I would like to fit a roof rack-the gutter is now full of black sealant. If it leaks again, could the dealer blame the fitting of the roof rack?
TIA

Hi Nick
Unless you had to use a club hammer to get the rock sliders to fit I doubt that they have caused your problem. Doorseals are notorious for leaking, I am on my third set on the front doors in two years. If the door is catching on the top or bottom only I would guess that it is a hinge problem, probably never done up correctly.
Dealers will try and get out of any warranty work given half a chance, just stand your ground
