Fitting a DA4371 exhaust mid section
So a while back, I had ordered mid through exhaust DA4371. For the price, I knew that I was not to expect much Whistle but as probably cheaper than if I had to buy the material, bend, weld, etc, I took the plunge.

Went to fit, the forward mounting hanger was in reasonably right position, but the rear was off by 3”. Simple, re shape them to the correct position. But the flanges also need ‘adjustments’, which will be for another day!

To re position the flanges, I am thinking to setting up a jig on the current mid exhaust, cut the flanges off the new pipe, set on the jig, and re weld them back.

This is a picture when trying to connect the rear flange. Its off my 11mm. If I tighten, the exhaust will melt the mudflap Laughing
