Fab!!
Glad to know you are getting on well with the trip. We found that we got well over 30mpg when touring Norway as the speed was max 50 and the fuel was high quality ... Enjoying the blog ! Think the worst quality fuel so far was to be found in Mauritania! The trucks exhaust is usually polished inside the tail pipe as it burns very clean. Mauritania it was green / yellow due to the sulphates I’m guessing? Glad your enjoying the blog mate, Jen puts some time in with it |

Just started reading your blog whilst finishing some pre xmas work in the office. Absolutely amazing, reading about your adventures is putting a smile on my face as I glance over the words. Well done to both of you for taking this leap in life and doing something 99.99% of all us wish to do. This is what life is for, no matter how hard you will find it at times (just reading about the Visa issues in Senegal!!) you will look back on this trip with amazing memories and laugh. Good Luck and godspeed! Cant wait to read some more!! |

Are you going all the way to Cape Town. If so this is the journey my wife and I are planning to do in a couple of years time. Plan is Luxembourg, where we live, down to Cape Town. Across SA and then up the east coast finishing with an Ice Cold in Alex(andria)
Last bit will take a bit of planning and as always with Africa subject to whoever is currently having fisticuffs. After that we are either going to Asia or South America. What issues is Covid having on your travels? |

Thanks for all the kind words, if anyone needs more info just drop me a pm. COVID….what COVID? You’d never know it existed here, last request for proof of jabs was in Mauritania.
Banks & some supermarkets require masks but apart from that you’d never know. We are in Bissau at the moment & will slow down a lot when we hit Namibia. Will make a decision about south Africa when we’re nearer. |
