Electric / static shock frequently

Hi,

I have a p400e, which regularly gives me a static shock when I close the door on leaving the vehicle.

Does anyone else get this, and any idea how to resolve (other than myself being the earth !).

The only reasonably reliable way I have found to avoid this with modern cars with loads of plastic is to make sure I have my hand on a metal part of the car (such as the door) before touching the ground. That way the discharge is through the sole of my shoe, which doesn't feel pain, not my flesh, which does.
