Hi J
Join the 90 hunt club I am looking for a 90 as well, my budget is slightly higher than yours, to use off road instead of the 110. Lots of TD5's about but out of my price range. Also a lot of rubbish for sale as well, I found a tidy TD5 90 that fitted the bill but the owner forgot to mention it was a cat c ! I am going to ask Yeovil LR to keep a look out for me, they do get vehicles at the cheaper end of the scale sometimes. Good luck Bob |

lol - thanks Bob - not easy is it!!!
Reluctant to spend any more as it only pushes the hugely costly insurance up yet further - still its hard to know what to do as the alternative is cheaper but lots of hidden issues Cat C - bit of an oversight to not mention Let me know if you get lucky J Defender 110 Puma Utility XS |

I recently sold my 90 base model hardtop, very tidy but high-ish miles (117k), on a V-plate, for less than £5k.... keep searching gents.

Hi Pom
Why is he a monster - mm where do I start ........ He never cleans his bedroom He's never ready when we need to go out He uses the bathroom when I need a bath His clothes have to find an independent way to migrate to the washing basket as he has no idea where it is He struggles to understand the term "tidy up please" He's at agricultural college and finds it amusing to walk through the house in piggy overalls!! Personally I blame the parents Love him to bits really Will take a look at the Series that's a really good idea - thanks J Defender 110 Puma Utility XS |

Oh god it must be something to do with agricultural college My daughter's suffering from exactly the same symptoms. She starts RAC in Cirencester on Sunday Love her to bits Good luck in your search, my daughters mini has only just recovered from working for 6 months at a equine farm, if she goes back it will have to be a 4x4 She actually think's its quite cool to drive the 90 |

Series 2's are very popular with yoofs as they are only £500 to insure through the NFU (or used to be!) and cheap to run, no tax etc. If doing longish journeys drop in a 200TDi...2K will get you a very nice one. Or even a Series 3, very nice ones can still be had for £1500. Check out the Series2 club forum, OLLR forum etc for sales Cool cars at college with the tilt off and windscreen down Cinstone on here picked up a very nice series 2 example for a very reasonable price off those forums. It had all been gone through and he is done loads of miles in it all ready - mine has never let me down as a daily driver for 2+ years
