Starter motor query
Yesterday my own starter in the 2.4 started making a strange noise on turn over. Still works, just a strange noise when it kicks . I was looking at starter motor prices. I see a brand called NAPA which is the cheapest, by a long shot. Anyone any experience of them? I'll get my own checked out next week to try to nail down the strange noise. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Get yours rebuilt. Far cheaper and a better item if original

Yes I have gone that route before.Not sure why there is a noise on start up but once I get it checked out I will know where I stand. Still starting fine, except fpr the noise. I always like to tackle things early if possible. Thanks Thumbs Up 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
