Ciao.
Does anyone know the name of the sound insulation pad that goes over the trans tunnel and sits under the centre consol? Some kind of synthetic wool pad with rubber backing? Mine was degraded and I stupidly binned it (thinking it would be easy to find and replace) but for the life of me I cannot find it anywhere. Every time I put ‘OE LR PUMA transmission tunnel sound insulation’ or equivalent into Google, I get all the AM stuff like Dynamat. I’m after the original before I put in my new carpet set as Exmoor require it to remain in place. Any thoughts? Name or part number? Otherwise I’ll have to source something similar, but either it’s a wool/foam insulation with no backing, or it’s rubber over HD foam which is not as pliant. Thanks in advance. Have a scan through these diagrams, might get lucky with finding a part no.
