England 2013 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 SW Aintree Green
Dum…dum……dum 2.2 engine noise
Hopefully posted in the right section now!

My first 2.2 Puma engine so this maybe completely normal.
Drives, accelerates , pulls etc no issues, no power loss etc.

However when I am “cruising” along on the motorway I can hear a steady (not frantic but in line with engine speed ) dum dum dum.

Can’t think how else to describe it, but if it sounds vaguely familiar to anyone, anything to go in a blind panic over or just chill!

It doesn't sound 'normal' but then sounds are notoriously difficult to diagnose in text Confused Darren
