1986 Defender 90 V8 Petrol ST Auto Pennine Grey

Galv front bumper from new or not?

Have scoured Google images and mixed results.

Would a 1986 pick up have been supplied new with a galv or black bumper or was galv an option?

Do not know if helps, but some early ones had galvanized cappings. But I do not know if galvanized cappings called for a galvanized bumper as well. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

It would have been galvanised. Black bumpers came in on 1988 model year introduced around September 1987. JB

I thought they probably were. Sure I saw it on an old brochure once but the internet isn't always the greatest source of verification. Thanks for that
