There is a lot of serious stuff going on in the world today. I am going to give a slight diversion to this. I am in no way trying to lessen the suffering and hardship of those involved but this might bring a brief smile to someone's face.
We were at the doctor with our daughter who has special needs, to get blood taken to check her health and to see if her medication needed to be modified. So there was the doctor tapping away at a blood vein to get it to come up so as she could insert the needle. Things were not going to plan. The vein was steadfastly refusing to come up. Turned out the "vein" was a mark from a blue felt tip pen. Get a nurse to take bloods - they're a lot more experienced than doctors. Defender 90XS SW

When i was last in hospital for surgery the young nurse was trying to get the vein in my hand to come up so she could put the needle in that connects to the atheistic,
As she was struggling i told her to think of me as an ex boyfriend.......five seconds later i was out like a light...... Never did get her telephone number....  |
