I have coil springs suspension but the same squeaking noise.
I hear it when front and/or rear screen heating is on. I guess the steering modules make this noise. But I may be totally wrong here. 2021 Defender 90 D250 1998 TUL 1997 TUM FFR 2003 Defender 110SW Td5 1985 ExMOD 110 ST 3.9 V8 1971 Series IIa Lightweight |

Think there's been a post or two on here about the door seal squeaking. The fix is to apply silicone grease I believe. Worth a try though even to rule it out.... |

I have literally the exact same thing, it’s done it since delivery. Mines a D300 110 too, air suspension. I’ve not tried to investigate it so can’t help with what it is though! |

It could be your suspension compressor as that is under the boot floor but inside the car - on cold days first thing in the morning mine sometimes makes a wheezy sigh as it pumps the system back up to pressure after a cold night but once it’s pushed a little air into the system it is silent even after raising the car to normal road height.. The noise isn’t at all loud or a nuisance though and I used to hear it in my 2015 RRSport too. I have the same issue, tried silicone grease whi helped slightly but came across an answer where the problem was traced back to the roof joint:

@jomara - I saw you post a while back and actually followed it to help with general creakiness. This is different: it's intermittent but regular (like a squeaky wiper) and also sounds a bit like a bird as SJT said. It also happens exactly the same every time I drive from cold so I'm thinking mechanical/electrical rather than general creaks/squeaks.
It's not annoying enough to warrant a dealer trip on its own so I'll add it to the niggle list for a later trip. |

@Al_Ra, funnily enough I also have a list being compiled of all the things I haven't been able to resolve myself. The joy of being part of the Land Rover family.
It sounds like an issue I had with squeaky airbags mounts on a Disco2 but then again with each new model Land Rover go out of their way to create new and wonderful ways to frustrate owners. 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon 1971 Bowler Tomcat 88 4.2 V8 Auto 2022 110 D250 XS Edition - Gone 2024 110 D250 X-Dynamic HSE |
