I think they should declare two world champions for last year, a first for F1 sport and would make a great quiz question for the future.. Ride like you stole it!!

I think technically he has been given another role at the FIA One of his replacement, Eduardo Freitas, is excellent and seemingly unflappable if anyone has heard him running the Le Mans 24 Hours. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

still not going to cure the fact that F1 is nothing but an overhyped expensive procession of vehicles of which the bottom 12 would save time and money by not showing up.
At least they are stopping the knee bending and hopefully Vettel's boss has told him to shut up with the woke nonsense and do what he is paid to do which is to pretend at least that he was once a world champion and not an overpaid grid extra. If you want motor racing, where the important thing is to entertain the paying public then watch the Australian Supercars live on BT Sports. At least with the DTM races in Germany they would add weights to the leaders to keep the pack closer together. F1 will be starting a new season soon, with new looking cars but expect everything else to be the same. If if wasn't for Redbull last season even the commentators were sounding bored more often than not. |

I went to 2 races last year, Spa and Monza, Spa was another farce but Monza was fantastic, Spa is only 90 minutes away from my house but after last years debacle and what happened in the last race I won’t be going again, not for a while anyway. The whole thing just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, my money will be going elsewhere.
I’ve booked tickets to the Le Mans Classic instead, trial run for going to the main race either next year or the year after. If I’m honest I’m more interested in the classics anyway but I’ve always wanted to see the 24h. Will be a bit of a trek as I’m going to Glastonbury the week before, so Luxembourg to Pilton then Pilton to Le Mans via Poole/Cherbourg then back to Luxembourg |

I agree with Bluest that Eduardo Freitas has nearly 20 years experience and therefore certainly has the right credentials. It was rumoured for quite some time that he may be offered the role of F1 Race Director but the question has been would he take it. There was also quite a few other candidates who had had their names put in the frame Defender 90XS SW

Who ever takes the roll needs to tell the team principles to keep off the radio and that the judges decision is final.
Even the drivers on the radio come across as a bunch of snitches and cry babies at school as oppose to multi millionaires driving multi million dollars worth of equipment…… It’s more embarrassing than enlightening. |
