Motor Td5
Hello, after reviewing the repair book in the section on mounting the cylinder head on a Td5 engine, I ask myself the following question: Due to the type of pressure and angular tightening, the cylinder head of this engine must be retightened after a certain km tours? Some say yes and others say no and the repair book says nothing.

Hello Spain....

The official work shop manual does not say it is required so I am happy not to. I believe (and I could be wrong here) that because the head is aluminium and stretch head bolts are used re-torquing of the bolts is not required. The older cast heads do require a re-torq after a certain number of Kms.
