As I wrote in another post, I spent the weekend exclusively dedicated to eliminating small and annoying noises of all kinds.
After about 5,000 km this summer on the road and dusty dirt roads, I returned home with a rattle.
On the one hand, I dismantled the front seats, along with the cubby box, and put the self-adhesive soundproofing and thermal plates throughout that sector, including the floors.
And then with the W80 lubricant, I sprayed all the screws, hinges, bushings and joints that I could find.
And the change was incredible, I never thought I could achieve such a good result.
Before the works, I had about 85 db at 100 km/h without a fan, and last night I managed to measure about 71/72 db in the same conditions.
and also dozens of small noises disappeared thanks to the W80
I am very happy with the change, it is a new driving experience.
