Which engine are you running then, 200/300Tdi?
that would explain the need for disc brakes |

Get rid of the wolfs and either use camelmans 1ton rims or standard 16s.

As I said above neither one ton or standard 16β rims will fit with the Zeus disc brake conversion.

Itβs a real shame, I have the same dilemma with my series one.
I think disc brakes are a worthwhile mod, but it comes at a cost, both financial and not being able to use genuine rims. The Zeus conversion uses discs and pads, I think from Mercedes and there is no clearance between rim and calipers. Paul Hastee however has cast replacement swivel housings with additional lugs to attach the calipers. Calipers, pads and discs are all standard ninety parts so standard rims fit. The only problem is the last time I looked he was about twice the price of Zeus and heβs in Europe( I havnt dared to look since Brexit!) |

I spoke to him earlier this evening to convey the forum's thoughts. He's going to see if, with the arches removed, the tread actually protrudes from the arches as he suspects it might not actually do so, which would be a neat solution to the problem 2005 Td5 90 XS
