Injector Replacement => codes
Hello,

I am Quentin, a French man who love Land Rover (i have a Defender 2,4 TD4 and a Series 3).

I come here to ask a question to English specialists… because un France, not everyone agrees on this :

Yesterday, i changed My 4 Injector on My 2,4 TD4 Defender by DENSO injectors.

I have an IDTOOL, so I wanted to enter the injector codes.
It didn't work... "Operation failed E .O"
The codes are correct, I checked several times...

My question is :
Do I have to register the codes?
Or maybe another update to do before try again ?
The ECU will not adapt while driving automatically?

I have to go to Scotland very soon with my TD4, is there any risk?

Thank you so much !!

Quentin, from France Smile

I have not done this but I understand the injectors need to be coded to the ECU, as its the ECU that decides how much fuel to inject, and these numbers on the injector are the calibration numbers. Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details
