TD5 130 Belize green
Hello,
I’m new to the forum but just thought I would share some pics of my new (to me) Belize green TD5 130, she’s pretty sound with just the odd few jobs here and there such as replacing rear door hinges, full service and the biggest being painting the chassis/rust proofing.

Thanks both! Hopefully at some point in the future it will get a canopy for the back just for ease of use for when we go camping/travelling abroad with it. Then roof rack, winch bumper and a diesel heater would be lovely but I’ll have to see how the piggy bank looks 🤣 any progress I’ll post up on here if this is the right place to!

Welcome to the forum Very Happy Fine looking machine there, Harrison Thumbs Up Looks to have incredibly straight bodywork - what year TD5 is it?

Be sure to post your updates in here, we love to see what others do and come up with, especially if it's something we can copy! That and that James, JOW240725 is in further need of 130 forum threads to watch as he for some reason won't buy one to add to the stable despite knowing it's the best defender model produced Twisted Evil Stuart

Thanks camelman and what a club it is!! The club of the 10 point shunt to get into any car park😄


I do love a Belize green defender, looks really smart lord-haggis I must say.


It’s a 2005. The bodywork is pretty spot on to be fair, there’s just a little surface rust around the driver door handle and one lower panel behind the rear wheel arch has got a dent in it. The inside of the hi-cap body has had a little bit of a beating too.

I will definitely be posting updates here but mostly asking for some wisdom and guidance 🤣I might be a little biased but….I think everyone should make a little (or quite a lot) of room for a 130 in their lives 😉
