Easy mistake to make

I remember washing the work van and I forgot that the front windows were down....

2014 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Corris Grey

My Dad took his Morris Marina through a car wash on a really hot day. Same as you Spudfan, apparently he was trying to wind the windows up whilst the water was flooding in.

Come to think of it, he was a brave man washing a Marina. It corroded as you looked at it and the electrics were not great when it got wet. Water was not it's friend

i remember reading a funny story on 306.net that was linked from the 306GTi6 Forum.

One of the GTi owners had came back from shopping and spotted the 306 missing from the drive way, holly hell let loose, calling the thieves a bunch of

( basically the normal stuff) The lad had belled the police and told the insurance etc.
Anyway a couple of days later, he decided to nip back to the shops, for some milk. He happened to clock the car parked in the bay. He suddenly remembered, that he had took the car to the shops and forgot about it, and walked back. He said he felt a right fool, telling the police and the insurance on what he had done. They got a good laugh like we all did
