I ought to retire and convert mine to hipster spec. It'd be more profitable than working.

I'd call that price bonkers rather than optimistic!

There is also this one, cheaper still and perfect for people who hanker for the "Scandi-Sauna" vibe!

For that sort of money I wouldn't be wanting an interior taken straight from a 1960s caravan.

It’s been on eBay for a long time, I nearly spat out my tea when I first saw it, I know the word ‘overland’ adds a couple of zeros to any price but that’s just silly.

Or one of these for £40k. Not a Landie but a very off-road capable truck and a hell of a lot more of a camper:

The asking price of that 101 is just ludicrous.

Maybe it doesn't satisfy your inner interior designer Michael, but I'd much rather be in the truck - oh, and have a spare £85,050 stuffed under my plush 1960's seat cushions Wink

Knowing 1st hand how little space there is inside a 101 Radio Body I would also far rather have the DAF for camping for any length of time or travelling any distance.

Duck I love that - it is yellow after all!!

You got a thread or link to another forum for that box of awesomeness, Intercept? Would like a read whilst I very slowly upload and extract files at work today.

Also, is there anything that one can do to accommodate taller people, or should I just not even bother putting myself through the hardship with dreams of owning one at 6ft7? Big Cry Stuart

Hi Stuart

It depends where your height is - long legs / long body / both. I'm 6'1" and the driving position is fine, but much more and you'd be staring at the windscreen top frame. The driver's seat does have sliders but won't go back any more than I have it. the front wheelarch could be modified to drop the seat a couple of inches, but you'd probably damage future resale value.

However, the back makes an excellent 2 person bedroom and you'd have no issues with your height whilst sleeping because the floor area is >8' long.

I've added some rough dimensions to the diagram here:
