[For Sale] Defender Related Number Plate for Sale
Anyone interested in my registration LR71MUD for their Defender? I bought it to put on my 110 but its delivery has been delayed past March 1st so I've got a 22 reg to put on it now 🙄

I paid £399 from DVLA and looking to cover my costs.

It's never been assigned to a vehicle so I have the original certificate of entitlement (the assignment fee has already been paid) and this can be assigned to a nominee so you can put it on your vehicle.

None, other than the cost of getting the plates made up, which you can get done online or at your local auto parts store (eg Halfords etc). The £80 assignment fee was paid to the DVLA in the price of the plate so is included. MY22 110 D250 SE > MY23 110 D250 XS Edition > MY24 110 D300 HSE X-Dynamic

You can’t just complete the nominee section to allow a different user to put it on their vehicle as the title ownership would still be with you. Like a V5 you will have to transfer title and because the assignment fee has been paid there shouldn’t be any additional costs.

If you have the certificate of entitlement I believe you can transfer it to a new grantee (owner) online Ride like you stole it!!
If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do…

As the plate is date specific it can only be assigned to a vehicle first registered on or after 1st September 2021 MY22 110 D250 SE > MY23 110 D250 XS Edition > MY24 110 D300 HSE X-Dynamic

According to the DVLA website it implies when you as a nominee assign the registration to a vehicle the ownership of the plate is transferred to you, this is from the DVLA site.

"When you purchase a personalised registration, we will send you a V750 Certificate of Entitlement, which you will need to assign the registration to a vehicle. If you are purchasing it as a gift, set the account up in your name and address. When making the purchase, you can add a nominee, this should be the person who is or will be the registered keeper of the vehicle it's going to be assigned to.

Once the registration is assigned to a vehicle, the entitlement is transferred to the registered keeper of that vehicle as shown on the V5C Registration Certificate." MY22 110 D250 SE > MY23 110 D250 XS Edition > MY24 110 D300 HSE X-Dynamic
