Axle oil in the hub
MY110 rear axl oil in the hub i think the seal in the stub axle has gone , How hardis it to repair ?,

It is not a problem to have (differential) oil in the wheel bearings as long as the seal at the back of the hub is not passing oil (onto the brake disk).

To change the oil seals you have to disassemble and remove the sub axle (few bolts). Easy job but a bit messy.

Yeah, it's a pretty easy gig. There's a small seal within the stub axle and two larger ones in the hub assy.
I got my bits from Advanced factors and would also advise you to use a drip tray of some sort.
Be super vigilant for any contamination of the braking components but other than that, have fun, it's a nice old school nuts and bolts job, but don't forget to order new drive flange gaskets as well!

Many people actually remove that seal in order to obtain better lubrication of the rear wheel bearings. As long as oil is not escaping from the hub to the outside world, and especially via the back of the hub into the brakes, there really is no point doing anything about it.
