Kenwood dmx5020dabs start screen warning
Managed to do my double din conversion. Thank the baby Jesus I went with this half depth unit - was very tempted with the pioneer full depth one, but after the faff of installing this with all the wiring behind, I think I’d have been entering a world of pain.

On start up, the unit first gives a couple of seconds of the Kenwood logo, then goes into a driver warning screen about being careful using when driving blah blah…. I have to acknowledge this warning by pressing ok or I can tick a box to have it go off automatically after 10 seconds….. but I end up acknowledging anyhow.

Any way to stop this warning screen coming up. Very annoying first world problem.

same stereo in mine with same annoying problem. Additionally, it always defaults to DAB radio 5 live sports extra which I don't listen to. It only broadcasts some live cricket and otherwise loops on a short advert. I've tried factory reset but same again. If it drops the DAB signal, it changes from whatever station you were listening to back to the default. Its driving me mad.

Mine doesn’t default to that. In fact I think it stays on what it was set.

I tend to keep it on FM. DAB is a bit sketchy…… strange really in the city.
