You can't beat an iPod Classic. I've been using them for years.
Until recently (c.2020) you couldn't get an iPhone with sufficient storage space for all the music I wanted on it. Admittedly the iPhone 13 can have a bucketful of storage and, as they, say, other devices are available. Good luck with sourcing one Clayton. |

Hi Clayton,
Well, I’ve gone all bluetooth now… so I probably do have one or two old iPods around the place. It might be the weekend before I could try and find them. If I forget, give me a kick here, and I should get a notification email. I have a couple of older 60Gb units here if thats of any use?
(one 4th gen Photo in white and one 5th gen Video in black) The 4th gen feels a bit bulged so probably wants a new battery, but both were in good order when put away. |

No worries, the tech is too nice to throw away, and it seems wasted sat in the junk box. I understand the problem on space though, my 1Tb jukebox in my office is starting to feel like it wants a HDD upgrade! |

Clayton, what did you try to fix it? I think you can still get the hard drive and battery and fix yourself.

Hi Blue I tried all the normal stuff with restoring and the like but it's making weird noises when switched off, so my idea is to get another ipod classic and then get this one fully refurbed as i have had it from new 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. Clayton. |
