Without seeing it, it is difficult to say but I would have thought it would a relatively straightforward repair for a competent body shop. I suspect it would require the removal of the roof, or at least the tub-roof panels though.
If it is a relatively common roof i.e. 90 or 110 hardtop or truck cab then a second-hand roof may be the cheaper and easier option. I have a double cab roof that needs some fettling above the drivers door after the vehicle suffered a similar fate. My plan with that is to anneal the aluminium, pull the gutter straight and do my best to tap the dent out. 1985 127 V8 Build Thread Series 2 109" Series 1 80" |

Whilst I don't doubt someone proficient in aluminium TIG could repair that, I dare say the cost of material, time and paint would outweigh the cost of a good, second-hand roof and a respray if required. 1985 127 V8 Build Thread
