Just a quick update-
Disconnected / reconnect the Negative the fault still remains. As soon as F9 is re set the Alarm goes off. No faults on the ID Tool. Any resets available? |

This is for earlier 2.4 puma but can’t think why the wiring would have changed for the 2015 2.2.
https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic80591...al+locking You should be able to disconnect the Connector in the B post from the rear Nearside door to isolate the main wiring from the likely short in the wiring to that door. See pics in the link. That should get you home and give time to rectify the problem |

Did isolating the wiring to the door fix the problem ? It is a very common problem with the 110 with a fair number of posts on here about it.

Yeah, hooked it up this morning all working perfectly. I will get a meter out later and wiggle the B post wiring to confirm the fault.
More to follow. |

I've got a similar problem with F9, each time I plug a fuse back or try to start the vehicle the alarm sounds and the immobiliser is active, any ideas how to reset the alarm? I've disconnected the two rear door cables at the B pillar which likely caused the fuse to blow. Keith |

it could be wiring to one of the front doors or the back door that is causing the issue. The post I linked to earlier will help with identifying the issue , or a search on door wiring or central locking.

Once the fuse is reset can you unlock with the key fob whilst the alarm is going off?

Evening
Thanks for the notes, I've disconnected both rear door looms and that's sorted the fuse issue. When it's a bit warmer I'll try and work out which one is the issue In terms of alarm the fix turned out to be holding the driver door position switch with my thumb while replacing the fuse. This let me then use the fob to unlock and disarm the alarm. Keith |
