Hello all,
Anyone had, seen or aware of the above mentioned set up? I very much like the short-rack, over cab set up common to many DCās, but also full length set ups. I was watching a conversion video on YouTube today (Ford 3.2 Wildtrack) and they had a double set up. Each rack the same size, with one over the cab, one over the custom box on the back. In this instance there was a minor height difference (almost like the roof line of an old Disco) with the back being a couple of CMs higher, which I quite liked. Putting that aside, I liked the idea of having two racks instead of either just one short one or one long one. I have got a FD Rax for a 110, yet to be fitted, but Iām assuming I could cut to size and add new end pieces sourced from FD? This means day-to-day I could run the single rack set up, and on longer journeys or carrying more (lengthy) kit, chuck on the second for a full length set up. Anyone done this or seen it in action? When a larger rack is required šš¬
I strap a pair of long aluminium ladders to my existing short rack. Not as their ally pleasing. But certainly does the job š 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html Instagram - @r22oyp Roy |
